Steve Pope is the lead pressman for Sage Blanc. Steve started his career in printing on board a helicopter carrier during his stint in the US Navy in 1977. He bacame quite proficient at offset printing and remained in that field until 1983. At that time, Steve has operated a vast array of flexographic printing and has been a flexo printer ever since. Steve has operated a vast array of flexographic presses including Mark Andy, Rotoflex, Webtron and Comco. He is a very quality oriented pressman, and strives to make every label he produces the very best it can be.

    On the weekends, Steve is a disc jockey at KUBB Country 96.3, a country radio station in Merced, California. He is also a musician who plays the guitar, keyboards, accordion, and vocals in the Steppin' Out Band. He has been with Steppin' Out Band (www.steppinout.net) for 6 years and says that playing in a band on the weekends makes all the hard work during the week worth it.
